SUB-GROUP ACTIVITIES


In addition please consider supporting our efforts to help connect classmates in non-reunion years and to give the class nominating committee the opportunity to identify potential officer candidates, we have instituted a program of sub-group coordinators.

Many at the 2000 reunion expressed a desire to connect between reunions and a concern about the single slate of candidates presented there for vote. Sub-group coordinators' work gives us as a class the opportunity to broaden the pool of officer candidates. Sub-group coordinators have three primary responsibilities as follow:

  1. Plan and execute a sub-group meetings
  1. Solicit other classmates in sub-group to be co-leaders in planning and implementing activities and provide event feedback to the nominating chair
  1. Submit in writing to nominating chair at least one name for an officer candidate, based on the leadership demonstrated for the sub-group activities.
